Amy L. Flecknoe Moyer, 50, of Wilkes-Barre passed away Tuesday April 15, 2025, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley, Plains Twp. She was born in Kingston to Wayne Flecknoe and Linda Lynn. She graduated from Elmer L. Meyers High School, Wilkes-Barre, class of 1993 and furthered her education in earning a degree at Luzerne County Community College, Nanticoke. Amy was a member of Restored Church, Wilkes-Barre. Amy was a cherished presence in the lives of all who knew her — a source of strength, compassion, and unwavering love. Her kindness and gentle spirit were the foundation of who she was & her relationships were a direct reflection of that. Amy was an LPN, who dedicated her life to helping others, both in her career and in her everyday life. Her compassion and sensitivity touched the lives of everyone graced enough to have been in her presence. A devoted mother, loving friend, and one of the kindest souls one could ever meet. A passionate Boston Red Sox fan and a devoted viewer of Survivor, Amy found joy in the little things that brought people together. She dedicated her life to helping others as a nurse which was a role she embraced with pure love and selflessness. Amy’s love & care extended to all walks of life, including her pets in which she loved deeply. In her passing, she continued her legacy of generosity by being an organ donor through the Gift of Life Donor Program - a final act of giving that embodied the selflessness that Amy displayed in her day-to-day life. Preceded in death by her loving grandparents, Frank “Skip” Flecknoe and Dorothy Flecknoe. Stepsister, Melanie Good She is survived by her father and step-mother, Wayne Flecknoe and Roni Good, of Wilkes-Barre; mother, Linda Boyle, of Mountain Top; fiancé, Brian Biga; children, Stephanie Lyn Moyer, Meghan Nicole Moyer, Breanna Elizabeth Biga, Jared Schlosser, and Brian Biga Jr; step siblings, Richard Good and Jeanette Good; aunt, Patti Smith (Larry); uncle, Mark Flecknoe (Colleen), all of Wilkes-Barre. She also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews, and her friends who adored her dearly. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday April 26, 2025, at Restored Church 74 S. Meade St. Wilkes-Barre, PA. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday April 25, 2025, at Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home 89 Park Ave. Wilkes-Barre.
