Obituary of Alice E. Novack

Alice Strauch Novack, 100, of Wilkes-Barre passed away Thursday May 22, 2025. She was born in Newark, NJ and celebrated her 100th birthday in November. Alice was the daughter of the late Stanley and Wanda Golembrowski Strauch. She graduated from West Side High School, class of 1942. Alice worked at Western Electric as a radar inspector and volunteered at the USO during World War II. She was an active member of former Holy Trinity Church singing in the choir and Christian Mothers. Alice was happiest when she was helping others. She will surely be missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by husband, Raymond Novack, son, Raymond (Butch) Novack, and sister, Leona Falkowski. Survived by daughters, Alice (Bunny) Cramsey and Susan MacDowell, 6 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Bear Creek. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre.
