Obituary of Shellie Eckrote

Shellie D. Eckrote, of Hunlock Creek passed away on Friday, July 11, 2025, at General Hospital following a brief illness. She was born on July 15, 1960, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Shellie was the daughter of the late John and Lois May Jenkins MacDonald. She was employed as a caretaker in the healthcare field. Shellie is survived by her three children, Kristi Lipinski of Glen Lyon, Kimmy Warho of Nanticoke and Dustin Yakavonis of Nanticoke, and five grandchildren. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre.
