Obituary of Todd Dettmore

Todd J. Dettmore, 39, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025. He was born in Kingston, a son of Thomas and Diane Wegrzynowicz Dettmore of Wilkes-Barre. Todd was a graduate of Coughlin High School, Class of 2003. He was employed as a security guard for the Pat Curley Detective Agency in Mountain Top. Todd was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and fish with his uncle Danny and his cousins Brian and Eric. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Matthew Wegrzynowicz and his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Marie Dettmore. He was also preceded in death by his aunt and godmother, Kelly Marie Dettmore and his aunt, Patricia Wegrzynowicz Costin, In addition to his parents, Todd is survived by his ex-wife, the former Crystal Saullo and his maternal grandmother, Anna Wegrzynowicz. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and his beloved dog, Delilah. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 11 am from the Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home, 89 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre. Deacon William Behm will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Township. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-7 pm on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at the funeral home.
