Obituary of Michelle M. Blower

Michelle (Martin) Blower, 63, of Mountain Top, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born to the late Thomas Martin and the late Carolyn (Zajkowski) Martin, Michelle lived a life centered on faith, family, and joy. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ken Blower; her twin brother, Michael Martin; and her sister-in-law, Tammy (Lowe) Martin. She is survived by her brother, Thomas Martin (Robin) of Bear Creek, and her sister, Carolyn Sromoski (Frank) of Mountain Top. Michelle’s legacy of love continues through her cherished nieces and nephews: Stephanie Wasmanski (Jason), Victoria Thoma (Calen), Francis Sromoski (Candice), and Caroline Sromoski (Brandon). Her great-nieces and nephew, Elizabeth, Thomas, and Rylie, will forever remember their “Honey” with love. Michelle was a bright light to all who knew her. Her immense love for her family, quick wit, and wonderful sense of humor brought joy and laughter to every gathering. She had a way of making people feel seen and loved, and her warmth will be profoundly missed. Michelle’s life was a testament to kindness, laughter, and faith. Though her absence leaves a deep void, her spirit will continue to shine through the lives she touched. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. from the Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home, 89 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Parish at St. Aloysius Church, located at Barney & Division Streets in Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Maternity Cemetery, West Wyoming. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
