Obituary of Anna Mickulik

Anna Kish Mickulik, 97, of Wilkes-Barre Township, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Allied Services Meade Street Skilled Nursing in Wilkes-Barre. She was born in Wilkes-Barre Township, a daughter of the late Michael and Mary Hresko Kish. Anna attended Wilkes-Barre Township Schools. She was a devoted member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Wilkes-Barre Township. Anna was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother, who will be sadly missed by her family and those who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Mickulik in 2000 and by her sisters, Margaret Kish, Helen Klos and Betsy Scavone and by her brothers, Michael, Joseph, John and Daniel Kish. Anna is survived by her children, William Mickulik, Wilkes-Barre Township, Nancy Busfield and her husband, Daniel, Hunlock Creek and Mary Ann Solomon and her husband, Eugene, Dayton, Ohio. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Kula, Endwell, NY and by numerous nieces and nephews. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, September 22, 2025 at 10:00 am in St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, 526 Church Street, Wilkes-Barre Township. Her Pastor, Rev. Mykhalo Prodanets, will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Dallas.
