Obituary of Leonard J. Savignano

Leonard J. Savignano March 13, 2026 Leonard J. Savignano, 65, of Wilkes-Barre passed away Friday March 13, 2026, at Edenbrook Nursing Home, Kingston. He was born in Wilkes-Barre the son of Dalia Senese Savignano and the late Albert C. Savignano. Leonard graduated from G.A.R. High School, class of 1978 and King’s College, Class of 1982. He was retired from Penn Warranty Corp., Wilkes-Barre and worked as a manager at many area Wendy’s Restaurants. Leonard was a member of High Point Baptist Church, Larksville. Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee Clayworth Savignano. Survived by his mother, Dalia Savignano, Wilkes-Barre, brother, Albert Savignano and his wife Laurie, Edwardsville, brother-in-law, Fred Clayworth Jr., Uncle, Manny Savignano and his wife Rose, Tunkhannock, Nieces, Corrie Savignano, Wilkes-Barre, Mary Ebert and Her husband Christopher Jr., Pittston, Grace Clayworth, and great nephew, Conner Ebert. Additionally, Leonard is survived by many cousins. Memorial service will be held Saturday April 11, 2026, at 11:00 am from High Point Baptist Church 1919 mountain Road, Larksville, PA 18651 with his Pastor Matt Tarr, officiating.
