Obituary of Marion Ann Berrini

Please share a memory of Marion to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, Marion Ann “Sis” (Bradshaw) Berrini on June 25, 2026, in the comfort of her home, following a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. She was 96 years young. Marion was the daughter of the late Thomas Bradshaw and the late Isadora (Mangold) Bradshaw DeCinti. Marion was a 1947 graduate of GAR Memorial High School where she was a member of their Cheer Squad. Following graduation, she went on to work for the Bell Telephone Company. In 1945 the Bradshaw Family moved into a double block home on Lincoln Street, Wilkes-Barre. The other half of the double block was occupied by the Berrini Family. It wasn’t long before she caught the eye of the handsome young man next door, Dominic Berrini. They were married in 1950 and soon after purchased their home on Wyoming Street where Marion would remain until her passing. Unfortunately, they only shared 28 years of marriage due to Dom’s passing at the age of 53 in 1979. After Dom’s passing, Marion returned to the workforce and took a position in the Medical Records Department of the former Mercy Hospital where she maintained lasting friendships with a wonderful group of women from that department. After retiring she began babysitting her grandchildren and great grandchildren well into her 80’s. She loved cooking and hosting holiday get-togethers in her home up until her 96th birthday. In addition to her parents and husband, Marion was preceded in death by her brother Robert, brother Thomas (Peg) Bradshaw, brother Richard (Mary Ann) Bradshaw, daughter-in-law Ann (Guzzo) Berrini. Left to cherish her memory are sons Dominick Berrini, Michael Berrini, daughters Michele (Jack) Casey, Diane (Robert) Puchalski. Grandchildren Dominick Berrini, Samuel (Marisa) Berrini, Erin May Ulitchney, Daniel Casey, Eileen (Matt) Kosloski, Melissa (Nathan) Jones, Dana (Jeff) Fox, Sara Puchalski, Tessa Puchalski, Caitlyn Berrini, Anthony Berrini, Christa Berrini and Tylor Berrini. Great Grandchildren Courtney May, Ryan May, Reagan Ulitchney, Leah, Ulitchney, Nicholas Casey, Colton Casey, Kolton Kosloski, Christian Fox. Brother Kenneth Bradshaw and sister-in-law Romaine Bradshaw, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. David Greenwald for his care and compassion shown to Marion and her family, her nurse manager Ann and aide Amanda, as well as her other kind and compassionate nurses that took such wonderful care of our mother in her final days.
