From the hills of Sullivan County where Ron was very successful in the teaching of its students we are very sorry to learn of Ron's passing.Ron made many friends in his time in the area and especially enjoyed visiting an area restaurant by the name of Blasi's . It was here that the owner Vince along with Mom Blasi would enjoy the conversations Ron always had to delight his friends.Ron never missed a chance to remind me that while in a high school baseball game I purposely hit him while pitching.Maybe. At our last gathering of teachers at my place Ron gave us a wonderful description of his time in the service in which there were quite a few laughs.I considered Ron a dear friend from the valley who deeply loved his wife and his Lord. I will always remember my Phillie friend and pray for all, Dave Kule Laporte
