Obituary of Catherine Angela Larsen-Lick

Catherine Angela Larsen Lick, 75, of Mountain Top, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 17, 2026, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Catherine was the daughter of the late Erik Johan Faberg Larsen and Margaret Agnes Collins Larsen. A talented photographer with a creative eye, Catherine found joy in capturing the beauty of the world around her. She was passionate about helping others and enjoyed being an active member of her community. She was involved with Mountain Top on the Move and the Wyoming Valley Art League, where she was able to share her love of the arts and connected with those around her. More than any title or profession, Catherine was a devoted mother, daughter, and caregiver. She selflessly dedicated much of her life to caring for those she loved, always placing the needs of family before her own. Her strength, compassion, and unwavering love will be remembered by all who knew her. Catherine is survived by her beloved daughter, Kristen Lick, who was the light of her life. She also leaves behind extended family members, dear friends, and all those whose lives were enriched by her warmth, creativity, and generous spirit. At the family's request, no public services will be held. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Catherine's memory are encouraged to perform an act of kindness in her name, reflecting the compassion, generosity, and sense of community that defined her life.
