Obituary of Paul Moran
Paul M. Moran, 58, of Wilkes-Barre passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2024 in the PAM Health Specialty Hospital in Wilkes-Barre, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Wilkes-Barre, a son of Gladys Monseur Moran of Wilkes-Barre and the late Joseph J. Moran. Paul was a graduate of G.A.R. Memorial High School, class of 1983, where he excelled in basketball and was a member of several championship teams. He was employed as an operations manager by Access Information.
Paul was a loving and devoted son, husband, father, brother and uncle.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Moran and his mother-in-law, Margaret Hossage.
Paul is survived by his mother, Glady Monseur Moran, Wilkes-Barre, and by his loving wife of 35 years, Christina A. Hossage Moran; sons Paul W. Moran and his girlfriend, Ally Wootton and by Casey J. Moran and his girlfriend, Karen Wong, Wilkes-Barre; sister, Diane Brice and her husband, Michael, Wilkes-Barre, father-in-law, William Hossage; sisters-in-law, Shelly Moran ,and Melissa Hossage; nieces, Alisha and Alexa Moran; nephews, Michael and Matt Brice; great niece, Joella Moran; uncles, John Monseur and his wife, Sharon; James Monseur and his wife, Marguerite; and John Rynkiewicz; along with several cousins.
A celebration of Paul’s life will begin with a visitation on Friday from 4-7pm at the Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home, 89 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre, followed by a Service at 7pm. Rev. Joseph D. Verespy, Pastor of St. Nicholas – St. Mary’s Parish, will officiate.
