Nicholas Borick 94, of Dushore passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the Highlands Healthcare. He was born in Lopez the son of the late Steven and Eva Nadak Borick. Nicholas was a veteran of the Korean War Era, serving in the Army. After his honorable discharge from the Army, he was employed by International Telephone Telegraph, Clifton, N.J and Cegelec, Inc., Linden N.J. He was a member of St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Church, Lopez, PA, The Elks #1698, Pleasant, N.J., American Legion Post 240, Pensacola, FL, Am Vets Post 12, Pensacola, FL, Fleet Reserve Post 22, Pensacola, FL, and the National Horseshoe Pitchers Assoc. Preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Borick, brothers, Archpriest Paul Borick, Walter Borick, John Borick, sisters, Helen Kelly, Anna Waldron, Mary Dempsey, infant sister, Vera. Survived by son, MSgt Nicholas J. Borick USAF, (Ret), grandson Ryan N. Borick, special niece and nephew Beverly Harader and Michael Saxe and several other nieces and nephews. A Burial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday April 5, 2024, at St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Church, Lopez, PA. Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Interment will be in St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Cemetery, Lopez.
