Obituary of Eleanor M. Kluchinski

Eleanor Kluchinski,94, of Wilkes-Barre Twp. Passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Allied Services Center City, Wilkes-Barre. She was born in Wilkes-Barre to the late John and Anna Bobyak Shinal. Eleanor graduated from Wilkes-Barre Township High School, class of 1947. Prior to her retirement she worked as a bookkeeper for the Lion Brewery. She was a member of LPSCU Life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Kluchinski, brothers, John, Bernard, and Gerald Shinal. Survived by her son, Leonard Kluchinski and his wife Theresa, Laurel Run, Granddaughter, Mary Rose Landmesser and her husband James, Buck Twp., great grandchildren, Emily and Adam, who just made her day, sister, Maryann Ewasko, Wilkes-Barre Twp., brother, Richard Shinal and his wife Jean, Wyoming, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. from the Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home, 89 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre with a mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Hope Parish, 40 Park Ave. Wilkes-Barre. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hanover Twp. Relatives and friends may call from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday evening at the funeral home. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff of Allied Services Center City for the wonderful care they gave Eleanor.
