Dolores M. “Dee” Weaver, 89, of Wilkes-Barre passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024 at her home. She was born in Swoyersville, a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Semko. Dee was a graduate of Swoyersville High School. For many years she was employed as a manager at several local clothing stores. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the Children’s Service Center as a receptionist. Dee was former volunteer for the Concerned Citizens of Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre Crime Watch.) Dee enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers Games, Western Movies and listing to music. She also enjoyed sitting on her porch, interacting with her neighbors. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Weaver, in 1996. Dee was the last surviving sibling of four brothers and five sisters. Dee is survived by her sons, Eric Weaver and his wife, Debby, of Wilkes-Barre Township and Chris Weaver and his wife, Diane, of Wilkes-Barre Township and by her nieces and nephews. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family from the Nat Gawlas Jordan Funeral Home, 89 Park Avenue, Wilkes-Barre.
